Stephen qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1986. His business background is in professional accountancy. As a Principal at Heslops, Chartered Accountants, since 1991, he specialises in supporting small and medium sized businesses, helping to tackle the taxation, business and strategic issues faced, at different stages of the business cycle.
He also holds Company Secretarial and Finance Directorship roles with a number of clients, advising with professional, strategic and commercial perspective.
At Heslops, Chartered Accountants, Stephen is fully focused on leading the firm’s delivery of very personal service to long term clients, across a complete range of sectors.
He is married, with two grown up children. He lives in rural Hampshire and his interests include; their garden, playing squash and walking two Dachshunds in the countryside.
Stephen is Chair of Trustees at Andover Salto Gymnastics Club, which as a Charity, was the first successful Sports Lottery Funding Bid in Hampshire.
