COVID-19 SEISS update 29.9.20

The Self-Employment Income Support Scheme (SEISS) is open for claims and eligible self-employed people have until 19 Oc‌to‌be‌r to claim the second grant.

The eligibility criteria for the second grant are the same as for the first one. So if you were eligible for the first SEISS grant, you will be eligible for the second grant as long as your business is still adversely affected by coronavirus (COVID-19) at any time since 14 July.

On 24 September, the government announced that SEISS will be extended for a further six months until April‌‌ 2021. We will update our guidance and webinars with further information in due course.

We’ve added more dates for our popular live webinar on claiming the second grant so if you’ve not yet joined one, you can book your place now.
